Jo Homer is an Aerial Instructor and Performer who began her Aerial adventures back in 2000

where she taught and performed Flying Trapeze and Circus Skills at:

• Club Med Lindeman Island, Whitsundays

• The Outdoor Learning Centre, Macau China

• Trapeze Tremblant, Canada

• Camp America, Connecticut USA

Returning to WA, Jo then completed her Cert 3 in Outdoor Recreation and NORLS Roping

qualifications teaching Rockclimbing, Abseiling and High Ropes courses for

• Team works Development

• Department of Recreation

• Explorus Adventure Learning

• The Hangout Indoor Climbing Gym

Then the pull of Aerials and Circus brought her back to teaching at the Geraldton PCYC and then

moving to Nannup in the South West, she launched her own business FREESPIRIT TRAPEZE.

The past 5 years she has provided:

• Weekly Aerial & Mini-Tramp classes in Nannup with 50-60 students per week

• A yearly Aerial and Mini Tramp performance in Nannup

• Aerial/ Trampoline Workshops for Northcliffe Community, Collie RDA, Boyanup Child side School and Blackwood Community Circus.

• Weekly Aerial classes for the Nannup District High School students

• Weekly Aerial classes in Busselton Youth and Community Centre

• Has completed her Dogman, C2 Crane and Basic Riggers License

Currently Jo and the Freespirit Trapeze Performance Troupe have performed at the Nannup Music Festival and the Busselton Fringe Festival on the Freestanding Portable Rig and provided Workshops to the public.

Jo loves sharing her passion for Aerials and Circus to her students and believes that it's possible for anyone to enjoy from all ages and abilities!
